With his artistic versatility in multiple fields, Isabeau Proulx Lemire has performed more than 40 roles in productions with such companies as the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, the Cirque du Soleil, the Just for Laughs comedy festival, the Théâtre du Rideau Vert, the Opéra de Montréal, Paris’s Opéra Comique, Toronto Masque Theater and the Opera de Québec. He has been described as “talented” and having “panache” (Toronto Star), and showing “exceptional talent” (La Presse) and “tremendous charisma” (Le Devoir). He is also a stage director and teacher, notably for the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, and has directed numerous operas and operettas.
