Yamaha Artist Jarred Dunn enjoys a prosperous career, particularly his collaboration with Anna Górecka after graduating with distinction from her piano class at the Katowice Academy of Music. Described as “a piano sound-colour magician” (Muzikos Barai), “a thinking pianist who knows how to place every note” (La Scena Musicale), and “technically perfect” (Belarus First Radio), he won the first prize and concerto award at the Lithuanian International Chopin Competition (Vilnius), and prizes at Jan Hoffman (Kraków), Verona Zinetti, and Rome International Competitions.

Mr. Dunn has performed at Yamaha Performance Centre (Ontario), Warsaw Chopin Museum, Cavatina Hall in Bielsko, Bordeaux Opera, NOSPR Katowice, Silesian Philharmonic, Dvorana Hall in Bratislava, Vilnius Town Hall, First Ontario Performing Arts Centre, Klavierhaus New York, Juilliard School at Lincoln Center, Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts, Owen Arts Center in Dallas, Chapelle du Bon-Pasteur in Montréal, as part of Semaine Internationale Piano et musique de chambre (Switzerland) and Cecilia Concerts in Halifax. He has performed with ATMA Quartet, violinist Anna Kuk as Duo Mirage, and in piano duo with Maria João Pires and Anna Górecka. He has performed concertos with Lithuanian Chamber, Vilnius Cantus, in Toruń, with Budapest Chamber Orchestra, Belarusian Radio-Television, NOSPR Katowice, Sinfonia Toronto, and Niagara Symphony orchestras, among others.

His recordings are heard on CBC/Radio-Canada, Classical 96.3FM, WWFM, WQXR, 98.7 WVMO, Belarus First Radio. He is the recipient of distinctions and awards from Canada Council for the Arts, FRQSC, and CFMTA for his scholarly and artistic achievements. He studied with Andrei Gavrilov, Maria João Pires, Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń, Anna Górecka, Andrzej Jasiński, Dorothy Taubman, Jacob Lateiner and Yoheved Kaplinsky.
