Johanne Goyette was raised in a musical environment and worked for 14 years as a producer of musical broadcasts for Radio-Canada’s Chaîne culturelle radio network. She went on to specialize in sound recording, earning a Master’s in Sound Recording at McGill University and, in 1994, founding the ATMA Classique label.
Distributed in 25 countries and present on all digital platforms, the ATMA catalog now comprises 450 titles in genres ranging from medieval to contemporary music, and including tango, traditional music, and Baroque music. Johanne Goyette divides her time between record producing, managing the company, and artistic planning. The hallmark of the ATMA brand is her distinctive flair and production style.
