Louis-Pierre Bergeron

Louis-Pierre Bergeron is a well-established horn player on the Canadian scene. Before joining the National Arts Centre Orchestra as their 4th horn, he was 3rd horn in Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, 2nd horn in Orchestre Métropolitain, and solo-horn in Orchestre symphonique de Trois-Rivières.
Equally at ease in pop/jazz and in early music performance practice, Louis-Pierre Bergeron studied natural horn at the Amsterdam Conservatory. He has recorded and toured extensively all over North America and Europe, with renowned ensembles such as the Freiburger Barockorchester, Europa Galante, Tafelmusik, and Musica Aeterna. He is now a regular guest solo-horn with Les Violons du Roy. Louis-Pierre Bergeron is a founding member and an arranger for the Montréal Horn Stars, a jazz brass quintet with whom he has appeared in dozens of recording sessions, with artists such as Patrick Watson, Le Cirque du Soleil, Klô Pelgag, and Louis-Jean Cormier.
