Description
The instrumental ensemble of the Société de musique contemporaine du Québec presents four works by the legendary Quebec composer Claude Vivier (1948-1983), whose life was tragically cut short when he was murdered in Paris. Including his unintentional swan song (Trois airs…), this disc points, through a choice of the composer’s masterworks, to one of the richest and most original contemporary musical bodies of work imaginable.
