Description

In his day Johann Pachelbel was primarily recognised for his skills as an organist and that he was one of the first masters of the organ school of central Germany which also includes J. S. Bach. The music selected for this recording illustrates the different forms that Pachelbel used in his organ works. Régis Rousseau performs on Wolff’s organ at St. John the Evangelist Church in Montreal.
