ATMA Classique is pleased to introduce the first of three CDs with the prestigious Bienne Orchestra of Switzerland under conductor Thomas Rösner. The Jewish-themed program is built around John Williams’ Academy Award-winning score for Steven Spielberg’s film Schindler’s List. The recording includes Ernest Bloch’s Suite Hébraïque and Concerto grosso No. 1, and features violinist Alexandre da Costa and pianist Marc Pantillon as soloists. This CD was recorded and produced at the Palais des Congrès de Bienne, Switzerland.
