ATMA Classique is proud to present Suite Tango, a new album by two exceptional artists: Stéphane Tétreault, cello, and Denis Plante, bandoneon. These two virtuosi have joined forces to perform a collection of tunes that are astonishing in their rhythmic diversity and passionate, driving sensuality. With Suite Tango, whose form is inspired by the unaccompanied cello suites by J. S. Bach, Denis Plante creates a singular world in which the tango becomes more posh while classical music becomes more playful.
