Tim Brady (1956, Montreal) has worked as a composer, guitarist, and producer of new music since 1980. He has written more than 100 works, including operas, symphonies, and many compositions for electric guitar. His work has been performed in concert throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia and broadcast on the CBC and Radio-Canada, as well as on Radio-France, Netherlands Radio, the BBC, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, National Public Radio in the US, and other networks. He has released 19 CDs as a composer, leader, and soloist. He is currently the composer-in-residence with the Orchestre symphonique de Laval and president of the Canadian New Music Network.
