Linda Sorgini

Linda Sorgini has enjoyed an active career for more than 35 years, performing on stage, television and in cinema. She has participated in more than 40 stage productions, including Dans l’ombre d’Hemingway (Théâtre Jean-Duceppe, 2011), Le dindon (Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, 2012), Judy Garland, la fin d’une étoile (Théâtre Jean-Duceppe, 2015), in which she played the title role, and La bonne âme du Se-Tchouan (Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, 2017). A talented singer, she has performed in several musicals, including Un violon sur le toit (2010) and Sister Act (2014). On television, she starred for several years in the role of Susan Morton in L’auberge du chien noir (SRC) and Gin Thouin in the popular show Au secours de Béatrice (TVA). She has also played important roles in Smash (SRC), 30 vies (SRC), Toute la vérité (TVA), La promesse (TVA), François en série (Series+) as well as in the first season of Plan B (Series+). In 2019, she played in Cerebrum, a new series by Richard Blaimert (SRC), as well as on stage at the Théâtre du Rideau Vert in Le Schpountz. In 2020, she was back performing on stage at the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde in the opera Nelligan.
