Marie-Ève Pelletier

Since 1999, when Marie-Ève Pelletier graduated from the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal, she has been acting and singing on all of Montréal’s stages. She has appeared in numerous theatrical productions under such notable directors as Denise Filiatrault, Lorraine Pintal, Robert Bellefeuille, Téo Spychalski, Claude Poissant, Luce Pelletier, Charles Dauphinais, Marie-Josée Bastien, Simon Boudreault, and Florent Siaud. In recent years she has been performing the show Voix de poitrine, a musical theater review, as a member of the trio Le Brassieres Shop. She was seen in cinemas playing Katia in Le journal d’un vieil homme, a feature film by Bernard Émond. On TV, she plays Catherine Gravel in 30 Vies, Lison in Fugueuse, and Catherine in Catastrophe I and II. After earning a diploma in diction and phonetics in 2010, she began teaching these disciplines at the Conservatoire de Québec. Since 2011, in Montréal, she has been a professor of French diction at the Conservatoire de musique, of reading at the Conservatoire d’art dramatique, and of continuing education at the Union des artistes. Since 2020, she has also been teaching acting in French classical tragedy at the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal.
