ATMA Classique proudly announces a landmark recording of Francis Poulenc’s complete works for voice and piano, featuring pianist Olivier Godin and singers Pascale Beaudin, Julie Fuchs, Hélène Guilmette, Julie Boulianne, Marc Boucher, and François Le Roux. This milestone album is a joint production between ATMA, CLEF (Centre lyrique d’expression française) and the Festival Classica, and features the first-ever recording of three unpublished songs by Poulenc.

This recording consists of works that were recorded by Johanne Goyette during the 2012-2013 season in the Salle Françoys-Bernier at the Domaine Forget in the Charlevoix region of Québec, and boasts an exceptional acoustic uniformity for a project of this scope.

Monsieur Benoît Seringe, secretary-general of the Amis de Francis Poulenc, considers ATMA’s initiative – the first complete recording of these works by Francophone singers – to be “an event of prime importance in this year’s commemorations of the 50th anniversary of the death of Francis Poulenc.”
