Canadian soprano Hélène Brunet is hailed by the critics as “a singer of tremendous quality” with “a voice of perfect beauty and sincere expression”. Recognized for her interpretations of the works of Bach, Handel, and Mozart, her repertoire extends from Baroque to the music of the 20th and 21st centuries. On the concert stage, she sings at the Tage Alter Musik Regensburg, with the American Bach Soloists in San Francisco, with the American Classical Orchestra at the Lincoln Center in New York City, with the Orchestre Métropolitain de Montréal under the baton of Yannick Nézet-Séguin, as well as with numerous ensembles and symphony orchestras across North America. Among her recording projects, the JUNO award winning album Las Ciudades de Oro (ATMA Classique), where she is featured with ensemble l’Harmonie des saisons, received wide and unanimous acclaim by critics. Hélène Brunet was a prize winner at the Lyndon Woodside Oratorio-Solo Competition at Carnegie Hall. She is the recipient of generous grants from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Musicaction Foundation.
