Johanne Goyette

Coming from a musical background, Johanne Goyette spent 14 years as a producer for the music broadcasts of Radio-Canada’s Chaîne culturelle. She later specialized in sound recording, completing a Master’s degree in Sound Recording at McGill University, and went on to found the ATMA Classique label in 1994.

Distributed in 25 countries and available on all digital platforms, the ATMA catalogue now includes 450 titles. Its repertoire ranges from medieval to contemporary music, and also embraces tango, traditional music, and the Baroque.

Johanne Goyette divides her time between production, company management, and artistic planning. She is widely recognized for her keen artistic instinct, and her distinctive production style has become the hallmark of ATMA Classique.
