Nadine Brière

A graduate of the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal (2016), Nadine Brière is a multidisciplinary actress. She played the role of a nun in Normand Chouinard’s production of Nelligan at the Théâtre du Nouveau Monde, in 2020. During her training, she worked with Maxime Denommée (Innocence by Dea Loher), Normand Chouinard (Les voisins by Claude Meunier and Louis Saia) and Yves Morin (L’éveil du printemps, adaptation by Steven Sater, translation by Yves Morin). Upon graduation, Brière created a collaborative street theatre show that she performed in Saint-Malo. In the summer of 2017, she played in Indiscrétions publiques, a Théâtre du Ricochet production directed by Frédéric Jeanrie, and she was in the new production in the summer of 2021. On television, she appeared in Escouade 99 (Patrick Huard) and Madame Lebrun (René Richard Cyr). Brière has 20 years of dance training, including in Quebec traditional dance, as well as vocal training. She performed in Jacques Brel’s Les marquises, directed by Yves Morin at the Conservatoire d’art dramatique de Montréal and remounted in 2017 at Théâtre La Licorne.
