Sophie Larivière is a musician specialised in early music. She appears with many important music ensembles such as Les Violons du Roy (Quebec) Ensemble Rebel (New York), L’Orchestre Baroque de Montréal, L’Ensemble Arion (Montreal) and Les Idées Heureuses (Montreal), with whom she has toured extensively in Quebec, New Brunswick and Ontario. In 1997 she joined the Ensemble Caprice. She featured with them at the International Symposium of Recorder Players (Stuttgart) and the prestigious Festival of Recorders in Stockstadt in May 2001.
