Description
Organist Yves-G. Préfontaine is featured in the first recording made on the splendid Juget-Sinclair Op. 35 organ installed in the Chapelle du Musée de l’Amérique francophone in Quebec City.
Built in 2009, the Juget-Sinclair Op. 35 was recreated based on close examination of historic French organs and archival documents. The instrument is made in the classic 18th-century French style: it is pitched at A=392, is tuned in meantone temperament with eight pure thirds, features low wind pressure, and a suspended action.
