Description

The present recording originated from the musical adventure the ECM had proposed for its 1995 tour: L’amour sorcier (Love, the Sorcerer), a production of musical theatre where music, dance and flamenco guitar mingled in a manner of ‘gitanería.’ Together with the composition by Manuel de Falla, in its original version of 1915, works by contemporary composers were presented, including those of José Evangelista and José-Manuel Montañés recorded for the first time on this disc.
